All of the children were extremely well-behaved as we went out for a walk around our local area.
As part of our topic, we were looking at different types of homes.
Each child had a list of homes to look out for.
We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the fire station,
and were very excited as the firefighters turned on the lights and sirens for us.
When we returned to school we talked about what we had seen,
and then we wrote sentences about the fire station.
